While at Cambridge Bacon conceived of raising from its foundations a universal system of knowledge, that needed to be carried out for the most part in secrecy. To help ensure the success of his magnificent grand vision Bacon founded the Rosicrucian Brotherhood. Henceforth in secret Bacon began to put in place a machine that in and beyond his lifetime would encompass an enduring world-wide renaissance for the purpose of laying eternal bases for humanity, to achieve his dream of a Universal Reformation of the Whole World.
