A Talk by JACK CUMMINGS from 3.15pm ;4-45pm

This Talk is being held in the Library bequeathed by Sir Edwin Durning-Lawrence (1837-1914) to the University of London; Durning-Lawrence was a prominent Baconian who wrote: "Bacon Is Shakespeare"(1910) and is a Past President of The Francis Bacon Society.

Jack Cummings has thoroughly investigated over many years the mystery of the nefarious Money Pit on Oak Island, Novia Scotia, which has occupied treasure-hunters and mystery aficionados since its discovery in 1795. Jack received his B.A from Duquesne University, his Masters Degree from Roosevelt University, and pursued his doctoral degree at the University of Pittsburgh. He has taught at Purdue University, the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Pennsylvania State. He has also guest-lectured at Indiana University Carnegie-Mellon Universities and held presidential and vice presidential offices in various technical writing societies. In addition he has served as communications consultant for several large U.S corporations and government organisations.

Refreshments will be provided (tea/coffee and biscuits). Guests are welcome. (No charge).
