AthenA

A statue of Pallas Athena, the muse of both Francis Bacon and his fellow Masons, known as the Knights of the Helmet. Pallas means "to shake." The nickname "Spear-shaker" is the origin of the name "Shakespeare." "Shakespeare's" first name, William, is from the German Wilhelm, which itself means "helmet of." So the name William Shakespeare means the helmet of the spear shaker.
