Bacon is Shakespeare or vice versa?

Recommended Posts

Greetings all.

Every Baconian (except for Stratfordians) suspect that Francis Bacon was Shakespeare, but what if we said Shakespeare was Bacon? Would the first claim still be valid?

If there was no such person as the playwright-actor William Shakespeare, just a dummy figurehead, then would saying 'Shakespeare was Bacon' make any difference to the claim? What are the implications in terms of grammar I wonder?

Apologies if this is in the wrong section folks.

The man in the moone was not a buffoon
