Parallels in the Bacon-Shakespeare Works

"Knowledge is Power" was my motto from about 1988 forward almost ten years before I was introduced to the Bacon concept or so.

It came from my Ketamine explorations in the late 80s, and that quote was stated to me while in a K-state of mind. I'd say it came from God, as if God told me in a voice that "Knowledge is Power." But with K, it was always K teaching me, speaking. So K told me in a silent but undeniable voice that "Knowledge is Power." I accepted and it became my mantra.

It was a few later in 1995 I think when I took a pet bunny to the vet with a cat scratched eye and I saw a poster in his office that had the quote, "Knowledge is Power." The background was some peaceful image. I brought the quote up and remember he stated it was by Sir Francis Bacon. I shared that I had got it from an "out-of-body" experience on K. As a veterinarian, he was up on what I spoke. Vets use Ketamine maybe even daily in their work and Know all about it. He said in the University he attended all the Vet students tried K, and some often. "Knowledge is Power", he said.

For cats and horses, Ketamine is the knock out drug for them. Very safe. My wife worked in a Zoo in Tampa in the 1970's. They used Ketamine on many animals; antelopes, big cats, etc.

Also for humans when surgeons use it, pregnant women is a main area, it is very safe. It may allow strange experiences, but safe in a medical setting. On the street, nothing is safe.

Now Ketamine is being used for therapy for a multitude of symptoms and diagnosis.

But this is not about K at all, it is about the quote, "Knowledge is Power." It is maybe Bacon's MOST famous quote. I knew it close to ten years before Lawrence Gerald introduced me to Francis Bacon. It is used often even these days. Maybe even weekly with or without credit to Francis Bacon.

But, "Knowledge is Power" is not a perfect quote by Bacon! I don't think he ever said it in English. He did say something like that with a similar meaning in Latin. Translations are strange between Latin and English, lots of room for interpretations. So, unless something new has come up in the past decade or so, Bacon's most famous quote is not something he said in English. He said it, of course, but not in English.

I did go through some anguish and confusion when I learned that. If I am wrong, then the joke is on me and I'll laugh and be happy! But...

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER is 201 in Simple cipher using the modern 26 letter alphabet codes.

TWO HUNDRED ONE is 157 Simple and 287 Kaye cipher using the traditional Baconian 24 letter codes, the same as FRA ROSIE CROSS. The two phrases even share 168 Reverse cipher which has many other connections.

Lately on the thread here on B'Hive about the "Fraudulent Friedmans", we've discussed and pondered that the Rosicrucians who we celebrate so often here discovering their ciphers, numbers, and messages, may be actually purposely hiding Bacon's Truth for whatever reason, "until" they are ready.

So now I wonder if the quote by Bacon, "Knowledge is Power" is a Rosicrucian statement with Bacon as the messenger. Not that they are taking away from Bacon, but frustrating to me that their Baconian Garden of Truth is not in sync with my own dreams, wishes, and desires. Bacon did say it, in some form. His Brotherhood, College, New Atlantis movement, whatever, has made "Knowledge is Power" very famous and all about him. The RC numbers are totally sealed in that phrase:

Knowledge is Power

Woo 👻 woo👻, spooky coincidence. Just catching up on posts.

I have literally just done a tweet about the fact that the National Cryptological Museum are publicising a contest linked to Steganography and the quote they have asked contestants to hide is the one you have been talking about above,  Knowledge is Power!

Also, Christie has said that today is the anniversary of when FB was made Baron Verulam.

While I’m here I am having a run of synchronicities after looking at the Shakespeare Westminster inscription. It’s too long to explain but what do we know about William Kent re Freemasonry? Anything concrete?

I’m also interested in links with FB to Shugborough Hall in Staffordshire abd the phrase Et in Arcadia ego

Thank you

Re the above I have located a blog post by Dr David Harrison that says more about Shugborough and Freemasonry.

Whilst many people were Freemasons in the era of the making and erection of the Westminster Shakespeare memorial, definitively linking the sculptor (Scheemakers) and designer (Kent) to Freemasonry  could eventually reinforce the links to FB so this is a trail worth following.

With regard to the National Cryptological Museum, I’ll do another post in the ciphers topic but I’ll also leave this T and F woodblock

from the First Folio here, to see if anyone has ever found what the words in the T from Ben Jonson’s epistle might be(?). There definitely seems to be a word above and below the letter T.

Regarding the F, AP made some discoveries about the anagram abutting it in his work on the Friedmans...

but I’m interested in steganography in the actual block letters. I’m looking for words like Ms Covington found in the B at the start of The Tempest. It looks like there may definitely be something in the T and maybe in the F as well, and I’m unsure if anyone has already looked into that?

PS. This is the original tweet from the National Cryptological Museum showing an example of steganography
