Hello everyone, I'm excited to share some news in this announcements section.

My book is now available in paperback.

The Secret Work of an Age was written to help people "pierce the veil".  

Galileo once said: Philosophy is written in this grand book — the universe — which stands continually open to our gaze, but it cannot be understood unless one first learns to comprehend the language in which it is written. 

In my book readers will learn this language; the language of allegory, number codes and symbolism. Once that is 'cracked', life never looks the same again. It's liberating. One begins to see artwork, poetry, plays, music, names, books, and even our history and future, through a different lens.

Print! OMG!

Kate, you know a year ago I was all about suggesting Kindle to you. How wrong I was! Dangerously wrong!

Today more than maybe since 1623 does having a book in print matter.

We do enjoy so much of our critical and important antiquities being scanned and available to everyone on the internet. It is an infinite sandbox full of eternal treasures to pull out of the soft sand with bare hands and examine right now!

A few years ago I celebrated the potential, and still do. Yet now I have lost confidence that it will last my lifetime, much less for generations to come. In fact, it may be possible within a few years what we take for granted will be shutdown, banned, illegal for any working professional to even view. Archives.org has already been hushed. One day SirBacon.org may be gone unless one wants their head cut off, and within a few years forgotten.

2023 we are celebrating the publication of Bacon's First Folio. If it was not in print, it would not be the same as it is today even if it still exited.

Already books are being removed in Florida libraries because they are pretty scary to a small group of powerful individuals.

Kate, I have your print book I can read when I am forbidden to access the internet, if I find a place to hide it to keep it safe. 😉

My first Baconian book was Penn Leary's published in 1990. That book and my new book are touching on my desk. LOL

Imagine if Dodd's books were not in print. I think I have pirated Xerox copies in my collection. LOL

Rick Wagner? A very popular free online book, The Lost Secret of William Shakespeare is at risk of disappearing as fast as technology changes within the rules of whatever the rules are.

Christina Waldman? I have a special hardback copy that I cannot find online to buy today. One time I had all of Peter Dawkins books, but have not got back some I loaned out. 🙂

Me, Light-of-Truth? I have sent out just under a dozen copies of my clunky Pyramid PDF (with a few typos/errors) that I printed and bound at Kinkos many years ago. OMG! I hope at least one survives! When I launched my Pyramid page almost 20 years ago I forgot about print. "Why print, Internet will be forever."

Years past Lawrence and I have discussed how to make a book of the many thousands of pages on SirBacon.org! And now B'Hive has maybe as many!

Kate, you are immortal even post-WWW if that ever happens.

We ALL need to have some print legacy, just in case. 😉

2023 is telling us to leave print for the ages, I think. Kindle is great, as long as Kindle is an option. Anything printed can survive oppressive laws, hundreds of years, computer viruses, hackers or governments, even a total collapse of a society. It's happened before, right? And Bacon passed on some to us in his printed works?

One of things your friends here on the B'Hive tend to relate you to is your gift for seeing, understanding, and sharing the two twos you find in Shakespeare and about (22).

Hi Rob,

You made me smile. Gosh how far we have come since having to photocopy at Kinko's! I totally agree with you about the worrying situation of losing things to the ethers. Nothing can beat good old fashioned libraries and books by the bed - which I tend to scrawl all over and underline.

No problemo re these screenshots but I wouldn't encourage any more, simply because, as I kept banging on about at the front of the book, this is not a book to dip into but to unfold, so it can spoil that process for others who read it. Thanks for your high praise. I may edit the original entry to make it clear to anyone who lands on this page from outside the forum, that it is a book about Bacon's Secret Work, but it is also so much more.

I just heard Alexander Waugh talking about how nobody can pierce the veil without an understanding of the number symbolism used by these Renaissance Masters. This, as you know but others may not, is the book to understand that symbolism and the associated use of wordplay and the wider cryptic playground.

Wow, really wasn't expecting this at all Thank you so much for reposting, AP.  People can stamp on shoots or help and encourage growth. You definitely lie in the second category. You are generous to everybody, and yet always self-effacing about yourself and your ( and your partner's) incredible output and passion for FB and the forum. It's a really heart-warming quality.

When one produces anything , whether a book, an article, a video, a piece of music, a painting, something that has clearly taken a lot of effort and has a piece of your soul in it, you find out who has your back and who your real friends are - who wants to support you and who seems to want to see you fail; those who stay silent, or subtly big themselves up through pointing out errors . Life is endlessly instructive like that. You've taught me a lot. Thank you for being you, and endlessly encouraging.
