But "Shakespeare" did not write him back.  I wonder why?

I just read these lines and heard Bacon speaking at and as Willy:

If this be error and vpon me proued, (Bacon)
I neuer writ, nor no man euer loued. (Willy)

Willy neuer writ! Sad no man euer loved. But Bacon is not proued, if euer will be. But he was loued by many. 😉

A. Phoenix got me curious about 1621 when Bacon "Fell" and Line 1621 of the Sonnets is, "Within his bending sickles compasse come,"

The two lines above are Lines 1624 and 1625, if that matters. 🙂

Do you want to hear Bacon suggest to his Mother that she should Crown him?

Might I not then say now I loue you best,
When I was certaine ore in-certainty,
Crowning the present, doubting of the rest:
Loue is a Babe , then might I not say so
To giue full growth to that which still doth grow.

The first five lines on this famous page with Sonnet 116 mis-numbered as 119. "Loue is a Ba...", let it grow.

Can't you feel it?? Bacon, writing as a figment of everyone's imagination to his real Mother. She knew, everyone knew, but NOBODY could speak it!

King James knew it. Oh to give Bacon full growth. Sigh.

I am aware of some websites and media outlets known to Strats and to some of us within the Authorship attention, but so far the major mainstream feeds seem to not care much.

Or if they have mentioned anything, it did not go viral. 😉

Sad, so sad. The biggest news about Shakespeare on the 400 year anniversary of the First Folio is how the works are being removed from Florida classrooms for being sexually "inappropriate" for High School students who are learning about English Literature, how to navigate and nurture romantic relationships, and learning how to even speak and understand our English language.

EDIT: Removed several sentences of inflammatory content I wrote!

Could be some big events around November, maybe, but where are the feature documentaries about the F.F.?

Even a BIG Shakespeare event on November 8 might not make Prime Time News. I believe it should, but I live in a very tiny world sometimes.

In my circle of friends, family, and business relationships I am the only person who even knows this is the 400 year anniversary of Shakespeare's First Folio. (Not counting my Baconian friends anyway.) In fact, I may be the only person in my local circle who even knows what the First Folio is. LOL

Hi Rob,

We have been saying the same things for years. In our family, circle of friends and other social/business relationships none of them know anything about the First Folio, the Shakespeare Authorship Issue, and if the name Francis Bacon ever comes up, they automatically think of the painter, Francis Bacon!

Live theatre in general is becoming a diminished art form, overwhelmed by Netflix and the www. Shakespeare is virtually absent on Australian stages. Forget television. The great dumbing down continues...

Wow ! Another great fing Rob ! Here is something else that I have just noticed thanks to your post, echoing a part of the video I am working on.

Through my research, I discovered that Francis Bacon used tne "n" as an inverted "u" in TUDOR as a subterfuge to easily concealed "Tudor" and his "public" name.

I will keep the other exemples for my video, but here is, in my view, the message concealed in sonnets 115/119 , here is what IC 😉 ...

The Strats, bless their cotton socks, have spent up big and produced a 53 minute doco on the FF for the Quatercentenary. It was released in April.

The commentary, which Stanley Wells had a hand in writing, says at one point that the Stratford monument in now believed to have been modelled from life and that W.S. specified how he wanted to be portrayed before he died. (from 22:00) No doubt there are other whoppers littered throughout the narration. Otherwise, it is a somewhat old fashioned trotting out of the same old story. The section on engraving and printing is well done.

Another film produced in association with Folio 400 (who seem to be very well funded) is a feature length "comedy" called FOLIO! FOLIO! - announced in Variety 2 years ago:

Former The Globe Theatre artistic director and filmmaker Dominic Dromgoole will direct and produce “Folio! Folio!” a new feature film celebrating 2023’s 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s Folio. The film’s screenplay was penned by Richard Bean and Clive Coleman, writers of 2020 Venice player “The Duke.” Shooting is scheduled for summer 2022. Dromgool is also developing a documentary on the Folio with Angelica Films. Set in 17th century England, “Folio! Folio!” kicks off when The Bard kicks the bucket and follows his friends John Heminges and Henry Condell as they work to collect William’s works into the first Folio of Shakespeare.

https://variety.com/2021/tv/global/itv-ridley-adrian-dunbar-west-road-1234986432/

Whats On Stage also ran a story on the proposed film back in June 2021:

https://www.whatsonstage.com/news/dominic-dromgoole-and-richard-bean-team-up-on-folio-film_54174/

Shooting should have been completed a year ago. There appears to have been no updates since then. Perhaps it will be released in November? Or perhaps the production has run into difficulties, which might be just as well. The film's director, Dominic Dromgoole, describes the screenplay as "written with a similar wit and warmth to Shakespeare in Love".
