Thanks Eric. I have actually read this before, it’s a great resource to have on the site. It’s good of you to take the time to capture the images and upload for new eyes.

To be clear the upload of the first emblem book and the reason I put Shakespeare in quote marks, is because I think it’s a great book to a) learn everything there is to know about emblems and b) as a way to do some reverse engineering, because if (and we know he was) Francis Bacon was Shakespeare then the entire book is really referring to what he would have been consulting.
