Groundhog (Ground Bacon) Day, Day 33, February 2

Recommended Posts

February 2 is always Day 33 in our calendar. Groundhog Day, I love it! For some reason Groundhog Day has been a favorite of mine since I was kid in the '60s. As a teen it became a great party day. Those years I had no idea who Bacon was and Day 33 was meaningless to me. But something was special about 2-2 in whatever year wherever I was. Maybe it was a warm sunny day after a deep freeze for weeks in the ski areas in Colorado, or perhaps a relaxing day after a huge project, whatever, February 2 has a tendency to be a very good day.

One year ago on Day 33 we launched the B'Hive. The official announcement went on What's New on March 3rd last year, or 3-3-22. Since then we have hosted about 3,000 unique visitors during nearly 130,000 visits on the B'Hive Forum. For what we do and who we are, it is respectable traffic.

What else about Day 33? Did Bacon leave us anything to enjoy?

Day 33 in the Sonnets Pyramid contains my favorite Bacon anagram.

The first letters of the first two full lines of Day 33 produce, "B U T F R O and A N D C O". Or an anagram of F BACON TUDOR.

We can also start at the first line of Day 33 and find the B and A and land on "convert" to make BACON in those 33 words.

"Constant stars"? "Truth and beauty" shall thrive?

Just scratching the surface here, barely scratching at all. 😉

Happy Birthday B'Hive,

When B'Hive was launched last year none of us really knew what to expect and now look at it twelve months on: a truly remarkable 3,000 unique visitors and a whopping 130,000 visits to the Forum. Bravo! Fantastic! Treble Wow! Who could have imagined it.

The B'Hive is the best Baconian Forum in the world on the best Baconian website sirbacon.org on planet earth.

Rob, you are the person responsible for it.

This is your Baconian Baby-you constructed the B'Hive, you work hard behind the scenes to keep it running, and on top of that somehow, even with all your other responsibilites and commitments, you still find the time and energy to put up numerous daily posts on it.

What you have created here is an invaluable service for Baconians and Lovers of Truth occupying every corner of the Globe which will live on in perpetuity and make you immortal.❤️♥️

Lawrence Gerald has dibs on that title, he is responsible that we all even know each other. SirBacon.org is the venue and is the brain child of our Baconian friend LG. Maybe I am the mechanic who built this humble forum, but it takes Lawrence and SirBacon.org to host it, and all of you who contribute to the B'Hive and a few key members who nursed this from its birth. I'm very happy and extremely relieved on our Anniversary of the B'Hive Diamond that sparkles with us.

The B'Hive has become better than I could have imagined. Every single day. Thank you all very much!!

The SirBacon.org B'Hive Forum is alive and well. I'm aware of humming buzz in the background too. A serious community is maturing here as we speak.

All about Sir Francis Bacon.

Yann! I've studied Sonnet 14 in depth for 15 to 20 years and never looked for Tudor in the center of the Sonnet, nor anywhere else! Brilliant!

You are the Master of what you do and are a Treasured contributor on the B'Hive. 🙂

It's Groundhog Day, 2-2. I have to work tomorrow, but still trying to celebrate a little before early bed. Now that Bacon is in my life it is also Day 33 to celebrate. Regardless, February 2nd is typically a Happy Day! (Maybe because it's been over a month since the Solstice and the Sun is getting brighter, higher, and warmer.)

XM Radio played Blue Oyster Cult which Theresa and I enjoyed. She said she did not remember the song "Godzilla". I was like, "No way." So I played it. It was so fun to listen to, I want to share here for we who are old enough to know the song. 😉

Happy Ground-Bacon Day!

We wholeheatedly agree Rob with your observations that Lawrence is the founding father of sirbacon.org and is ultimately responsible for bringing all of us fellow Baconians together on the B'Hive Forum. Massive gratitude to Lawrence for all his sterling efforts throughout the last 25 years.❤️♥️

On 2-2-1585, 438(439) years ago Willy's Twins were born, or baptisted, Judith and Hamnet.

https://www.bl.uk/treasures/shakespeare/stratford.html

"Their first child Susanna was baptised in Stratford on 26 May 1583, followed by twins, Judith and Hamnet, on 2 February 1585."

This was before his "lost years".

"Between 1587 and 1592 Shakespeare disappears from all the known surviving records. This period is often referred to as the 'lost years', and has been the subject of much speculation."

I suppose there is actually documents that Twins were born on 2-2-1585. Otherwise I'd think it was a myth. LOL
