RoyalCraftiness
I've previously covered the fact that the Cuper's Cove colony in Newfoundland allowed us to visualize a straight line to England from where Tudor era ships left for the New World. The extension of this line through two points all the way around the globe allows for a Great Circle to be defined which allows for ease of navigational calculations. This is the truncated part of that Great Circle line again showing the distances involved. We can examine the ratios of these distances to observe that the long leg / total leg =0.618. The short leg /long leg=0.625. This is an excellent little result because 0.618 represents the golden mean. What that tells us is that the line we are considering fits the definition of Plato's divided line. The total length is off by a mere 17 kms. This in turn is less than 1/4 of one degree of longitude (well within the error of maps then). The divided line idea is shown here: What I have shown is that Jamestown, Cuper's Cove and Cornwall are the A-C leg of the line. We can therefore extrapolate beyond Cornwall and locate a next point further East. This turns out to be in Cyprus, near the city of Paphos, ancient center for the cult of Aphrodite (Venus). We can appreciate how well the names on the colonial end are going to fit the narrative here. We have a Virgin Continent which is about to conceive a new society with the loving assistance of Venus. The Divided line allegory is one half of the famous pair that describes Plato's entire cosmology. The other half is the allegory of the cave (where you may even encounter lizards, lol). The two together cover what Plato considers to be knowledge. Bacon, as we know, saw himself as in the tradition of Plato which went through Pythagoras and Hermes Trismegistus. Plato's beloved Atlantean myth was Bacon's love child also. He used it in his New Atlantis, and it seems he also identified a ground point in NA which related to the described relationship between Egypt and the Pillars (to go beyond the Pillars is the suggestion). This mainly concerns the very early stages of colonization when all this would have been in the planning stages. We ought to be able to see that something was guiding Bacon which was empiric and ancient. A bit more about the divided line, because Bacon appreciated it mathematically. It can be expressed as an artifice that comes out of the golden mean or Phi=1.61803399. The number can be expressed as: 1+0.61803399, and the decimal part can be expressed as 1/1.618003399. This leads to the infinite fraction formula: I had the image so I have included the math to show how the Fibonacci numbers are baked into Phi, and into the colonization effort it seems. Great consideration was made for the choice of the colonies. The stars of the Northern (Summer) triangle were the celestial navigational aids. Now it keeps coming up interwoven with everything else. In a few days, a lot has turned upside down in my brain. What is "Bacon's Vault"? Or "Bacon's Treasure". Its been a while since one of my belief systems has been shattered! LOL Long overdue. Is there a "buried" chest of rotten papers in the middle of William and Mary College? I hope not, even though it has been my dream for many years. Is there a rotten moldy chest buried on Oak Island? My worst rotten destroyed manuscript nightmare. I hope not. But all of the sudden someone comes in with another concept. As the human I am, it was a struggle to work through. I really "felt" I knew where Bacon's "Vault" was buried. The math works out! I stumbled on the following in an 1985 or 1986 Baconiana this morning dancing with another thread. Basically, Nova Scotia and Stars came up anywhere I looked. LOL The Star in William and Mary, the Star at the Rosicrucian HQ in San Jose, a Star I assume somewhere in Nova Scotia (at the Mug and Anchor I hope). Each and every Star placed by Bacon and his friends is a Treasure, a Vault to explore. I know as well as some of you, if Bacon left a Treasure of manuscripts, they were never "buried" anywhere. Dee traveled the world and collected rare books. The rarest of them all, some very old, very very old. Dee: How old is this treasure? Dealer: Many centuries. Dee: Wow! So clean, so nice. How did they preserve it so well? Dealer: Well, it has been in the safe possession of blah blah blah... Next one... Dee: How old is this treasure? Dealer: Almost 100 years! Dee: Wow! So discolored, so deteriorated. How did they ruin it so quickly? Dealer: Well, they buried it in the ground... RoyalCraftiness
That's a suspected alias for an American alchemist who was named George Starkey (star-key) who left Harvard in 1650 looking for deposits of refractory clay and antimony that could not be sourced in the Eastern US. He may have gone to NS where the two were found in large supply near each other. He resurfaced in Europe later, alleging to have decoded something in Bacon and others works. He was particularly interested in a solar eclipse that was going to occur in 1651. It would be visible at sunrise, giving an extremely rare birthing moment at dawn. The eclipse path put it right on the NS horizon at sunrise. You can get the details from NASA's catalogue of eclipses. Starkey's ideas were studied by a lady from the US who became a very good friends with Dan Blankenship. He liked her ideas. In fact, it is very likely that his 10X shaft location was informed by her, as opposed to dowsing, since it was after a visit by her to NS that he abandoned the old MP area for good and started on 10X. 10X is a way to express T.T. Each symbol is ten. The idea is probably right in inspiration, but the application of the star map to a ground layout at OI is futile, IMO. The "map" is a star chart that used Kepler's pointer to locate the Mahone Bay ground point. It isn't more precise than that. The vault is above. The treasure will come when the 7th King has died. The moral was to not waste your valuable gift digging in the dust, because that would be a curse. Appreciation of the story and the method is about as rewarding as it gets. Bacon wanted to reward clever men who could see past the value of gold (Psalm 19). Edited January 21 by RoyalCraftiness 1

Points are easy to miss sometimes. 😉 Ok, I'll use the Mercator map we considered the other day to show it. D is from the Delta region in Egypt through to pillars to the NS coast. D was given by the constellation Triangulum (The Miter of St Peter) .The pillars are pretty well understood to be the Gibraltar neck. More precise Mercator maps get you to Mahone Bay. Symbolic arithmetic does the rest. The cue to this is part of the Two Taverns suggestion in Sylva Sylvarum. The other alignment appears to be with the Grand Turk area. This particular map shows how closely that could work out to be parallel to the line from Lizard Point to Cuper's colony. Keep in mind these are alignments only on a Mercator map. On the globe these lines are arched and do not compute through the pillars. This is a different sort of suggestion. This map is from 1569, but it was used for a long time to inform other maps. The description of how to find Atlantis given by Plato was for the Egyptians to have gone beyond the Pillars of Hercules. So we can see some cleverness in this. If we were to be as faithful to the story, Plato got it from Solon who got it in exchanges he made at Heliopolis (city of the Sun) when he went there. On the other end of the alignment is a point which captures the symbolism of the Sun with 111 (the planetary magic square). If that wasn't enough, the coordinates put it 100 degrees of longitude from Jerusalem in a scheme that divides the globe in 33 and 67 degree slices of longitude with Paris. Couldn't easily be more Bacon-flavored. Symbolic to a very high degree...and so was Virginia. All made to emulate the design capabilities of the grand architect, no doubt. The other day I meant to point out that when you use the sky charting tool take some time to shift the longitude coordinate around and see what that does to the movement of the constellations. Nothing will change in the sky at all except that it (an event) will happen earlier or later. This means that the star garden at San Jose offers you the same view as the college of W&M's garden does. It is just happening at at a different time. Because we adjust our clocks with time zones, this allows both sides to see pretty much the same thing at the same local time even if the sightings are separated in time. That's the value of placing things at the same latitude. The behavior of Vega will be the same on both ends. It will go to near zenith once a day. At Mahone Bay that will be Cygnus, exactly like at Bologna where Cygnus was honored also. Edited January 21 by RoyalCraftiness

Light-of-Truth
Funny, getting older I tend to look North. Sky is crisper, the circles are smaller, seem to go quicker even though they are the same as lower latitudes. Living in the South now. I'll watch a gorgeous sunrise for sure, but I will stay on the West coast of Florida, no desire to go East. 😉 2 T A A A A A A A A A A A T 157 www.Light-of-Truth.com 287 <-- 1 8 8 1 1 O 1 1 8 8 1 -->

Canada https://parks.canada.ca/lhn-nhs/ns/fortanne/culture/histoire-history The threads are getting all mixed up now but I’ll post what I found back on the Monarchicke Tragedy thread. I’ve been taken back, through a chain of further synchronicities, to Oak Island! The first Masonic lodge in Nova Scotia was at Annapolis Royal. It was formed by the governor's nephew, Erasmus James Philips, who came from Boston in 1742 (he was York rite). Philips had his uncle, governor Richard Philips, petition for a regiment numbered 40 to be garrisoned there. The regiment was the lodge body, in effect. One of the officers involved later became surveyor general of NS. He's the one responsible for planning the Shoreham Grant that contained OI in 1762. Morris later became a judge and his sons were prominent Masons in Halifax. They built the lodge there. Thomas Haliburton's account in "The Old Judge " is attributable in part to events in Charles Morris' life. Charles Morris' other claim to fame is that he is the one credited with proposing the areas of French settlement be charted for the future eviction of the French in what we know as the Deportation of the Acadians. His plan was put into effect in 1755 without approval from London. The mainland area adjacent to OI was part of the old French village of Mirligueche. It had been occupied for a very long time by the natives who had seasonal grounds there at the head of the Bay. When Morris charted OI in 1751 the British Navy had no fine detailed charts of the area. Philips died suddenly in 1760. There is a very provocative and symbolic monument to him in Halifax that was erected by Masons 175 years after the 1763 settling of the New England Planters from Rhode island. My paternal ancestors came in that Planter Migration, but they were sent to another grant where they also received the stolen lands of the Acadians. In excess of 150 years passed in between periods when we had Bacon's colonial scheme and the Planter migration. It's a retelling of a story of sorts. We know there wasn't anything at OI previously to Morris' survey because his entire survey is relatable to a geometry which is evocative of there being a point of interest where people are still looking. Morris didn't just luck out and plan with the result of it beautifully incorporating what was unknown to him. That land was immediately granted to colonials, so no previous knowledge of anything spectacular existed or is suggested. These Masons had an opportunity to use an existing narrative and make it be real there to pay homage to the mystery in Mahone Bay. The geometry employed is the same old Euclidian circle based stuff that makes up all of sacred geometry. Historians like Desbrisay never understood why a story that started somewhere else shifted to OI in the 1840s. Haliburton does a good job of linking the entire thing to the earlier idea of the Nova alignments. This is why I have bothered to present Haliburton here. He likely got his idea from Pott's family which was his extended family of cousins. Edited January 23 by RoyalCraftiness

I've never known much about NS prior to these threads and there is so much to learn. Fascinating! Erasmus James Philips' monument is very loaded with Holy Royal Arch symbolism. It's very precisely put together to suggest a 3-D pyramid. The perfect ashlar atop it is 27 inches x 27 inches. Philips lodge became King Solomon #54 and is still in NS. The three levels ending with Master Mason are the steps below. The HRA revelation was a the final step after that. The whole thing ends with a reveled teaching when you meet the master, so to speak. The completion of the ashlar only happened in death. In life you were working to refine half that square. This implied rectangle is the one which was used for a lot of Masonic planning. The main building at William and Mary college was rebuilt after the first fire in dimensions that are in proportion involving 27 feet and that also show the 2:1 relation of the rectangle to the half square. It makes symbolic sense, since you were said to refining/polishing yourself by educating yourself. The long line of the text on the monument has 33 characters. The layout of the ashlar is itself using a geometric alignment scheme. The story plot at OI is a take on one of the main legends that is integral to the HRA. If you were looking for another rabbit hole, this is one of the deeper ones I've explored. It has Bacon connections only if we accept that these men were aware of a Bacon connection to the early non-operative Masons. They may very well have believed that, and they may very well have been aware of Mahone Bay point of high interest to Bacon. Some literary sources were suggesting it. It makes a great deal of sense that these first Masons would have sought to do a little mystery suggestion of their own using an island they were involved in at the planning and surveying stages in 1762. They can't possibly have known OI was "the" place, or else that would have never been left unaddressed and passed on to others. As is often the case with these sorts of veiled Rosicrucian inspired "monuments", if that is indeed what it was, they are usually put in place to have them be brought back to life a certain number of symbolic years after (often 100). At OI we can actually detect that. 40 years after 1763 arrival of the settlers a discovery of a 2:1 rectangular stone detail is given (in the later accounts), 40 years after was the beginning of the searcher era at OI which coincided with the great Millerite prediction that the End Times were upon us, predicted for 1843. 100 years after 1763 , in 1863, an unattributable but noticeable effort was made in the media to popularize the story of a shaft which is 33 feet above sea level, with 9 symbolic levels (archs) leading to a discovery at 100 feet. This is the old 33+67 idea that Bacon had exploited in the Mahone Bay Ground Point location. At an additional 53 feet was placed a vault which is 153 feet in depth, the "perfect number" of Biblical fame. Attempts to pierce the vault caused it to sink in the proverbial abyss, confirming its unattainability. We can see how purely symbolic the crafted story is. That story wasn't crafted by Bacon. It was crafted by Masons with Bacon in mind. It is my contention that the people involved did not know the entire story, and that is why a discovery at Hobson's Nose is unrelated to the OI story. Thomas Haliburton wrote a History of that area in the 1820s. There wasn't a mention of a legend at OI. The story we are given was crafted with a fictitious origin story whose details try and fish from history going back to 1795, but it often misses the mark. Light-of-Truth
Love the photo. It is what it is, for anyone who can see. The extra lines are nice, but our eyes already see (C) the Pyramid. 😉 Anyway, as you said, I said, I am "educating" myself. At home with friends or family I would say "I am edumacating myself." Seems that term was from 1960's Beverly Hillbillies by Jethro, but maybe not. It's been in my vocabulary about that long... When you, CJ, first jumped into the B'Hive and of course I spewed forth my Sonnet Pyramid idea (always seeking someone who might get it), you expressed something to the effect that if my "26" pattern was "27" you'd understand. And then you have consistently offered 27 patterns for us since that have tickled my mind. A is 1 Simple cipher, 27 Kaye cipher, so on. I think it was the Kaye cipher when the early discussion took place. If we take the Kaye cipher out 27 times, do we end up on 677? 1 = 1 2 = 27 3 = 53 4 = 79 5 = 105 6 = 131 7 = 157 8 = 183 9 = 209 10 = 235 11 = 261 12 = 287 13 = 313 14 = 339 15 = 365 16 = 391 17 = 417 18 = 443 19 = 469 20 = 495 21 = 521 22 = 547 23 = 573 24 = 599 25 = 625 26 = 651 27 = 677 It starts with 1 and add 26 each time. What does that mean? Is it important? Here's the deal, CJ, my Sonnets Pyramid design has 364 days in it. One day short of 365. At first I had a hard time figuring out when Day 1 started. At noon on January 1st, are we in Day Zero half-way through, or at 0.5? Yes, in a way. So at midnight December 31st we would be at day 364 halfway? Or 364.5? Yes, maybe. The big "O" is 365, the 15th in the 26+ pattern and the letter O is the 15th letter, the ouroboros, etc. I've wrestled with this for 22 years now. I settled on January 1 being Day 1, so noon on New Years Day is 1.5. It works in the Sonnets. But is has been a "settle" that works, and works well. That makes December 31st Day 365, a big fat zero, or O, the snake eating its tale. But that ONE Day has a home, and I am still edumacting myself as I stumble forward in this dream. In the same way I think of my Sonnets Pyramid, if I take 27 inch square paver stones, like I play with in my yard (but not 27 inches), and lay in a row that has 27 blocks in each, and lay down down 27 rows, what do I have? If I measure from the center of each block then we have 26 rows of 26 squares. Granted, we have 27 blocks, but from center to center, it is 26 x 26. If building a pyramid, going up and we expect to have one block at the top, is this math not right? 27 x 27 and end up with just 1? I may be WAY off! LOL, still finding the place for the Zero Day, 365, December 31st, or the last half of Dec 31 and the first 12 hours of January 1st? 27 dots in a straight line, there are 26 short lines between them. Right? A is 1, A is 27. 😉 T A A A A A A A A A A A T 157 www.Light-of-Truth.com 287 <-- 1 8 8 1 1 O 1 1 8 8 1 -->
