Light-of-Truth Posted September 11 Posted September 11 I woke up this morning thinking about 9-11-2001. Today is exactly 25 years, and I suppose I was trying once again to make some sense of that day and what it has meant in my own life. For me there is another memory permanently attached to that date. It was late in the day on SEPTEMBER ELEVEN, TWO THOUSAND ONE, after the horror of that morning, that I first recognized the remarkable 26-letter cipher patterns in what later became a Key in the Sonnets Pyramid design. 1, 27, 53, 79, 105, 131, 157, 183, 209, 235, 261, 287, 313, 339, 365 That discovery, and especially with the numbers 157 and 287, changed the direction of my research and ultimately a good part of my life. So this morning I was thinking about all of that. Maybe even a little tormented by it. For 25 years I've sometimes felt that something personally amazing that happened to me that day was forever swallowed up by something unimaginably terrible that happened to all of us. And then, of all mornings, something completely unexpected happened. A distant relative reached out to me through a DNA match. We share the same great-grandfather and great-grandmother, the Hales, and that opened up a family connection I had never explored. And that's how, this morning, I learned about an ancestor I never knew I had. Sir George Bond (c. 1534–1592) Lord Mayor of London, 1587–88. Bond. George Bond. LOL! Needless to say, that got my attention. I've only been digging into George for a matter of hours, but already I'm finding him surrounded by names that should make a few people on this forum raise their eyebrows. During the developing Spanish Armada crisis, a Privy Council communication of March 1588 instructed Sir George Bonde, Lord Mayor of London, to have 10,000 men in readiness, including 6,000 organized under captains and ensigns. They were intended for the defense of London and, if required, for the “safeguard of her Majesty's person.” And who was behind those instructions? Among the names were: William Cecil, Lord Burghley. Sir Francis Walsingham. And... Robert Dudley, Earl of Leicester. I'll just leave that last name sitting there for my Baconian friends. 😉 Two months later, in May 1588, Queen Elizabeth herself sent for Lord Mayor George Bond to come to her at Greenwich, in the midst of London's preparations for the approaching Spanish threat. His correspondence with Elizabeth's government survives among the Burghley Papers. I'm also beginning to find George in the same London civic world as Henry Billingsley, another Haberdasher and future Lord Mayor—the Henry Billingsley whose English Euclid contains the famous Mathematicall Praeface of Dr. John Dee. There are other connections beginning to appear as well, including Sir John Fortescue, the Armada, anti-Spanish privateering, and people associated with the political and intelligence world that A. Phoenix has been researching around Francis and Anthony Bacon. I am not suggesting that I've discovered that my ancestor George Bond was one of Bacon's spies. I've known the man existed for only a few hours! But I think I'm going to enjoy finding out who he knew. And now comes the really ridiculous part. Everyone here already knows the old fun: BACON = 33 BOND = 33 Simple Cipher. We've kicked that one around before. Nothing new there. And Bond, of course, is 007. LOL My own computer business has been called 007 Computer for around 20 years. But I didn't name it for James Bond. I named it because of Dr. John Dee and the familiar 007 tradition that has circulated among Dee and Bacon researchers for many years. Whether that interpretation of Dee's symbol can ultimately be proved is beside the point here. It was Dee—not James Bond—who inspired my 007. So I already knew: BACON = 33. BOND = 33. Bond = 007. And I had been calling my business 007 Computer for almost twenty years because of John Dee. There was only one little detail I didn't know. Apparently, I am a Bond. LOL! And apparently an Elizabethan Bond who was receiving instructions from Burghley, Walsingham and Dudley, was summoned to Greenwich by Queen Elizabeth, and was living and working among some names that are already very familiar to all of us. I'm certainly not ready to rewrite the history of James Bond. Yet. 😉 And one last thought just for fun... Long before there was a fictional James Bond serving Her Majesty, there was a real Sir George Bond whose surviving records actually speak of the “safeguard of her Majesty's person.” So maybe we've had the wrong Bond all these years. 😉 The original Bond? Bond. George Bond. 1 2 T A A A A A A A A A A A T 157 www.Light-of-Truth.com 287 <-- 1 8 8 1 1 O 1 1 8 8 1 -->
