I updated my sirbacon.org Profile:
The name of my overall project is New Gorhambury, and my website is gorhambury.org.
The project goal is to apply technology in a novel way to attempt validation of the decoding of the embedded Bacon ciphers which was performed by Dr. Orville Owen and Elizabeth Wells Gallup in the American midwest starting in the 1890's. At the center of this effort is a group of Web pages called Expirements.
It also is intended as a library of online resources for researchers, some of them unique to the site. These are presented in the Exhibits section.
Note: there is no Mobile version of my website, and this is intentional. New Gorhambury is a platform for experimentation, it will never be a commercial product. Doing the research is going to remain a far higher priority for F.B.D than pleasing those who feel they must surf my website and operate a motor vehicle both at the same time. You know who you are.
A true Elizabethan, I’m not impressed with Smart Phones. I would rather be writing letters to my friends using a goose quill pen, maybe or maybe not yet with a steel tip (“nib”).
I’ve always had mixed feelings about the Telephone, though I think the Telegraph was a good idea.

Not on FB. I never warmed up to other of them, really. My updates will be posted first to this website, for which I am grateful.

As a professional web developer I agree. You do what you do and do your best! The vehicle on the web where you share is only that, the "car", or "wagon" it rides in. Don't waste your time trying to fit into every device nor please everybody. It would take more than ALL of your time. Your VALUABLE time.
However, you might be able to make a few bucks by editing that quote and putting it on bumper stickers and t-shirts selling to web designers. 😉
Cell phones are annoying, but I am addicted. Beepers ruined everything back in the 90s!
I have uploaded a pdf of the digital edition I created of Margaret Barsi-Greene's ultra-classic book, I-Tudor-Wrote-Shakespeare (1973, 332 pages).
A page on my website explains why i think it so significant https://gorhambury.org/public/exhibits/i-prince-tudor-wrote-shakespeare/
I created the digital edition so it wouldn't become completely extinct. The copyright expired in 2001.
This would fit under the existing Discussion categories here of: "His Royal Lineage", and "Bacon Ciphers"
And I often think, Isn't it egg all over the face of each Brit in Britain that an American like me skated away with an ultra-prime domain name like gorhambury.org, for only $15/year?
